
Parker grew up in Virginia Beach and attended Cape Henry Collegiate School and Christopher Newport University. He completed a finance degree as well as lead the development team of the Captains’ Educational Enrichment Fund. After graduating, he spent several years working for various closely held businesses in Nicaragua, Aspen, and Australia.
Parker works with many business owners in the realm of succession planning. He assists with active and inactive family in the business, transitions to partners or key employees, and third-party transactions. Additionally, he concentrates on customized fringe benefit planning, golden handcuff programs, and creative tax strategies. For personal planning, his approach is comprehensive. Areas of focus include wealth management, asset protection, wealth transfer, charitable planning, and financial independence. Coordination with his client’s existing advisors results in the best planning.
Outside of work, you will find him and his wife Amy around the North End. They are involved at Christopher Newport University, Christian Surfers, and Trinity Church. They spend their time outdoors, at the beach, or staying in touch with their Australian family.
